New Vehicle Sales Consultant

Job Description
Manitoulin Chrysler is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Consultant to sell new vehicles and value-added services such as maintenance plans, warranties, etc. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to learn product details. They should be driven by performance-based incentives, and have a passion for customer service excellence, which will lead to strong relationships with both customers and staff alike.

Job Type
Permanent; Full-Time

Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with availability to work weekends and after hours

  • Professionally assist customers by understanding their needs and interests, and matching them to the most appropriate vehicle
  • Understanding the characteristics, capabilities, and features of all vehicles sold at Manitoulin Chrysler, and providing the potential customer with detailed information, including different competitive models
  • Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle features
  • Building a rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future
  • Maintaining a customer database and communicating with them
  • Assisting customers with all relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed 
  • Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets
  • Enhancing dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Working with the Finance Department to develop sales agreements
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment that produces results
  • Able to stay organized and manage time effectively when working alone or collaboratively with a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Honest, enthusiastic, displays a positive attitude, and is professional 
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Valid OMVIC License (or willing to obtain a license)
  • 2+ year's experience in Automotive Sales or Equivalent Sales Experience is considered an asset
